| Paddling
Skills 1 (1/2 day)
An efficient forward stroke and the ability to move your boat around when and where you want it to are the main focus of this clinic. Spending the whole time on the water, our instructors will teach you different skills and provide many opportunities for mileage and feed-back as the clinic goes. The forward stroke, the back stroke, the sweep, learning how to put your boat on edge, as well as the different draws will be covered on this clinic. |

Paddling
Skills 2 (1/2 day) Once you are more familiar and comfortable with your sea kayak, learning the bracing techniques becomes more important. As you tackle bigger waters and challenge yourself at sea, it is important to learn these recovery techniques that will keep you up straight! After a brief overview of the paddling strokes, get right down to business and start bracing under the directions of our best instructors! |

Kayaking Safety Clinic (1/2 day) Learn how to self rescue, rescue someone else and what to do in an emergency situation. Find out about the security issues you should be aware of on the water, how your kayak works and what pieces of equipment are required by the Canadian Coast Guard. This hands-on clinic will make you feel safer and more confortable on the water, providing you with the basic knowledge you need to handle an upset. *Can be combined for a full day clinic with Paddling Skills 1 |

Kayaking Course (5 Days) This complete Sea Kayaking Course covers the topics of the Safety and Paddling Skills 1 and 2 clinics, plus advanced safety and navigation. Take this opportunity to develop your paddling skills and push your limits under the supervision of experienced and qualified paddlers. | Introduction
to Whitewater Clinic (1/2 day, full day or 2 days)
Taught a stone throw away from our Dipper Harbour location, the introductory whitewater clinic will cover the rolling technique, reading the rapids and safety in a whitewater environment. Using a tidal wave for training allows us to cover the topics step by step, throwing you only in what you are ready for and using bigger water to practice reading and analyzing the waves. *full day or 2 days recommended for beginners *must have previous rolling experience for 1/2 day clinic |
