View Lodge and Restaurant
Located at the heart
of the community, straight across from the ferry terminal,
the Island View Lodge and Restaurant offers home cooked
meals and warm hospitality to visitors and locals alike.
Operated locally by our manager Darlene,
the restaurant offers short order cooking, home cooked meals,
snacks and beverages. Meal plans are also provided to out-of-town
workers and Eastern Outdoors guests. Community events such
as Sunday dinners, BBQ nights, Movie and Pizza nights for
kids are also part of our activities.
The Lodge's facilities also include a 10
bed hostel, a common room with cable TV and high speed internet
access as well as full bathroom and laundry facilities for
travellers and sailors.
The Lodge is also home to Eastern Outdoors
Sea Kayak Tours, which uses the facility to store equipment,
meet its guests and provide information on the local natural
features and touring possibilities.
